Dr. Darin Townsend II is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist. His journey in dentistry began with a strong educational foundation, having attended the Liberty County School system in Hinesville, GA. He graduated from Liberty County High School in 2013. Dr. Townsend II pursued his passion for dentistry by studying Biology as a Pre-Med Major at Georgia State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2017. He furthered his education at Georgia State University, earning a Master’s Degree in Microbiology in December 2018. Driven by his commitment to excellence, he then continued his studies at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, earning his Doctorate Degree in Dental Medicine and graduating as a Dental Medical Doctor in May 2023.

What Dr. Townsend II appreciates most about working in the dental field is the opportunity to solve problems and help patients restore their smiles. His passion for dentistry transcends his role as a dentist and he takes pride in being able to serve patients alongside a remarkable team at Townsend Family Dental Center. From humble beginnings as a teenager cleaning windows and emptying trash at the dental center, Dr. Townsend II now plays a vital role in providing exceptional dental care to patients.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Townsend II enjoys engaging in exercise and fitness activities to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He also nourishes his sense of adventure through traveling.

With a passion for leadership and teaching, Dr. Smith has held various positions, including Class Representative for the American Dental Education Association and Admissions Ambassador for the Office of Admissions. Throughout her career, Dr. Smith has demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and has successfully managed a diverse patient base, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

She is licensed in both Texas and Georgia, and is passionate about building relationships and treating each patient like family. Dr. Smith strives to educate and optimize not only her patients’ oral health but overall health. It is her mission to inspire and nurture generations to come. She is ecstatic to be back in the South joining the Hinesville community!

Outside of the office Dr. Smith enjoys quality time with friends and family, patronizing locally owned restaurants and enjoying nature through hiking and exploring beautiful National Parks.

Dr. Greg Ganzkow is a highly experienced and compassionate dentist with nearly four decades of clinical excellence in comprehensive and airway-centered dentistry. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Gonzaga University in 1982, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Ganzkow completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1987, where he developed a strong foundation in full-scope patient care.

Dr. Ganzkow began his dental career serving patients with limited access to care through a full-service mobile dental practice in the Seattle and Pacific Northwest region. In 1991, he established his private practice in Shoreline, Washington. His practice then evolved into a health-, body-, and airway-focused practice with a strong emphasis on gnathologic restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and early intervention.

What Dr. Ganzkow values most about dentistry is the ability to improve overall health by addressing airway, occlusion, and function while restoring confident, healthy smiles. He takes pride in offering a wide range of services—including dental sleep medicine, orthodontics, implant dentistry, periodontal therapy, full-mouth restoration, and advanced therapies for TMJ and head and neck pain—while working alongside a highly trained and collaborative team.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ganzkow enjoys traveling with his wife, Karen, staying active through biking and skiing, spending time with their dogs, and volunteering with local community organizations.

Dr. Janki Bhagat is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She received her dental education from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and is known for her gentle approach and commitment to patient comfort. Dr. Bhagat loves getting to know her patients and building meaningful relationships while delivering high-quality care.

When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling to the beach, and trying out new restaurants.
